Translation Quality Review: Marathi (mr) - Part 13 of 13

Reviewer method: English source read first, then Marathi translation. Grep scans across all 23 files + manual spot-checks on 8 files.

Issues Found & Fixed (committed)

1. Hindi nukta characters in Marathi text (page-what-is-ethereum.json)

• "छेड़छाड़-रोधक" used Hindi nukta (ड़) which is not standard in Marathi Devanagari
• Fixed to "छेडछाड-रोधक" (2 occurrences, lines 76 and 83)

2. Inconsistent "Ethereum" transliteration (page-what-is-ethereum.json)

• 87 strings in the file use "इथीरियम" but 4 strings used the old form "अथेरम"
• Normalized all 4 to "इथीरियम" to match the rest of the file

Pre-existing Issues (not fixed, out of scope)

3. Three different "Ethereum" transliterations across the Marathi locale

• "इथीरियम" (ithīriyam) - used in page-what-is-ethereum.json, page-what-is-the-ethereum-network.json
• "इथेरियम" (itheriyam) - used in page-layer-2.json, page-resources.json, page-what-is-ether.json, etc.
• "अथेरम" (atheram) - used in page-learn.json, page-index.json, common.json (oldest translations)
• A cross-locale normalization pass would improve consistency

4. Inconsistent "staking" transliteration (pre-existing across locale)

• "स्टेकिंग", "स्टॅकिंग", and "स्टिकिंग" all appear in different files

What Looks Good

• Brand names preserved: Solidity, Vyper, MetaMask, PayPal, Visa, Shopify, Coinbase Wallet, etc. all kept in English
• Technical units preserved: ETH, Gwei, Gas, NFT, DeFi, L2, EIP all untranslated
• Template variables intact: {url}, {year}, {network}, {validatorIndex} all preserved
• HTML/JSX tags balanced: All <strong>, <em>, <a> tags properly opened and closed
• URLs intact: All links preserved correctly
• Product names kept English: Zerion, Rainbow, Uniswap, Zora, Farcaster, Hardhat, Foundry, Ethers.js, thirdweb, Moralis
• Lorem ipsum in trillion-dollar-security is also present in English source (placeholder)
• Translation quality: Natural Marathi phrasing throughout the newly translated strings

Verdict: Approved with fixes committed. The two critical issues (Hindi nukta characters + inconsistent transliteration within same file) have been resolved.
