Translation Review: Urdu (ur) - Part 12

Files reviewed: 23 JSON files (all i18n strings, no markdown)

Checks performed

• Devanagari script contamination — none found
• Empty translation values — none (2,660 keys checked)
• Escaped markdown (\*\*, \[...\]() — none found
• Broken URLs — none found
• Double apostrophes — none found
• Placeholder/variable preservation ({count}, etc.) — all preserved
• HTML tag preservation — see below
• href attribute integrity — all URLs match English source
• Stale keys — 8 found in page-founders.json (harmless, removed from English source)

Issues found and fixed

1. Missing glossary link in mining-definition (fixed in 147f43e)

• The <a href="/glossary/#nonce">nonce</a> link was dropped during translation
• Restored the link wrapping the transliterated term "نانس"

Observations (no action needed)

1. evm-assembly-language-definition tag mismatch

• The Urdu translation correctly closes an <a> tag that is unclosed in the English source (<a href="/glossary/#bytecode">bytecode. — missing </a>)
• This is a pre-existing English bug, not a translation issue

2. Extra <strong> tags in page-ethereum-history-founder-and-ownership

• English: <strong>not controlled by any single entity</strong>
• Urdu splits into two <strong> tags to match Urdu word order — acceptable for RTL grammar adaptation

3. 8 stale keys in page-founders.json

• Keys removed from English but still present in Urdu export from Crowdin
• These are unused and harmless; will be cleaned up in future Crowdin syncs

Verdict

LGTM — one link fix applied, otherwise clean translation.
