Expand verifiable AI information at https://ethereum.org/ai-agents

Proposed change: Add a short “verifiable AI” section in-between “what-are-ai-agents” and “ai-agents-on-ethereum”

Include:

• Verifiable inference: While offchain AI agents are “black boxes,” building agents on Ethereum allows developers to anchor their reasoning, unlocking trustless agents. Tech like zkML or TEE attestations + immutability.
• x402 and attestation flows: using x402 on Ethereum and L2s for 1) agents to pay for services/resources without human intervention; 2) agents to access attestation; 3) agent-to-agent commerce (buy/sell compute, data, API access, etc)
• Agentic finance security: smart account permissions (EIP-4337) (enforce spending limits and whitelists at the wallet level); programmatic limits via smart contracts or inference proofs, etc.
• Touch on ERC-8004 as a new, “in peer review” technology being developed, and its potential to make “trustless agent” infrastructure native to mainnet via onchain registries.

Motivation: Build more robust, actionable awareness and adoption of Ethereum as a platform for building agentic commerce. Ensure that existing AI Agent content adequately covers Ethereum’s leading position for AI agent development. Make the content more robust and useful for someone who is learning about the onchain application of AI agents.
