Dependency fixes and upgrades

Major changes to dependency list, upgraded all dev dependenices, moved deps around between deps, devDeps, and peerDeps, got all the VS Code errors to go away finally

First Release!!

Yes, 1.0.1 is the first REAL release. I'm still sort of noob-ish at getting npm packaging and installation handled 100% correctly, it would seem. And therefore, since there are many good reasons why you can't change an existing package on npm, I had to bump the version once I realized I had the dependencies setup wrong. Oops!
