Welcome to the EPS Technical Theatre Guide

What is this?

This repository contains source files for the E.P. Scarlett Technical Theatre Wiki, which contains a ton of information for students interested in technical theatre. The site is generated using Jekyll and can be found here.

The project was created and is currently led by Bea MacDonald, the Technical Director at E.P Scarlett during the 2020-2021 school year. They will help maintain the repo for at least the next few years

Progress

This project is in its early stages. The main focus currently is on the initial content for the lighting section.

Contributing and Contact

I encourage future students to share any new knowledge they acquire on this page as well, however, I do realize Github can be quite intimidating to those with no prior experience in programming. Students at Dr. E.P. Scarlett who wish to contribute should ask their Drama or Technical Theatre teacher for more info.

Alternatively, if you have an idea for the wiki and you just want to write, fill out this form using a email that works with Google Drive and a stub file will be created so you can draft using Docs instead of working purely in markdown. The files that are created are automatically automatically shared with the right people so you don't need to worry about visibility.

Alternatively, if you need any support, send an email to [email protected] with "Tech Theatre Wiki" in the subject line.

Licensing

This repository is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 license. License details can be found here.

Additionally, the project uses the Documentation Theme for Jekyll created by Tom Johnson.

All additional third-party licenses can be found in the files the licensed work is used in.
