how to disable throttle while running tests?

I've written several tests for my new API, but I've started getting 429 errors while my tests are running. What is the best way to disable throttling during tests? Should the API test utilities assist with disabling throttling?

You should be able to work around this by something similar to:

from module.views import MyView
MyView.throttle_classes = (,)

I think we might want force_authentication to turn throttling off by default too?

Incidentally you shouldn't typically run into this unless you're making lots of requests inside a single test as the cache will clear between tests.

Let's pass on this for now - setting the cache backend to a mock stub when running the tests should also do the trick.

I just added this line; myview.throttle_classes = () in the setUp() function of my test class.

Even I don't to use view, am I still need to execute myview.throttle_classes = ()?
