Parent drop down is not nested

When creating a new tag, the parent drop down is not nested. For example, if JBS is a parent tag and Tracker Team is a child, it's listed as:
None
JBS
Tracker Team

Rather than:
None
JBS
-TrackerTeam

or something similar.

Same thing occurs when selecting tags within components.

We're not exposing the nesting to end users at this time just to people creating tags although that is a feature o consider as we work on the field.

OK, but it's in the tag creation process on the right side. See attached image.

Yes it's shown but that doesn't mean we need to show the nesting although it would be nice if someone wants to play with making a separate field for the parent id as opposed to the regular tag field that we're using there right now.
