New message notification sound clips over RDP

Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
   When a notification message sound is played through a RDP session the audio clips and is jaring to the ears, the old sound did not do this

Can this sound either be reverted or selectable.

As a side note i also do not like the new sound either...

It seems like the new sound is just way louder than the old one (and also louder than the other sounds, including the new call ring sound), making it quite unpleasant. I also noticed that the new notification sound is slightly different/longer on the left track.
Here is a comparison in Audacity, the first one being the new one, the second the old one and then some of the other sound files:

Looking at the history of the notification sound file, it seems like it was normalized once, which probably has to be done again for the new one: d381fa3
