I should have commented why I added the SpaceID to the list of namespaces the first time.
When creating a dataview, if the target namespace (
/s/<ns>) is not included in thedataview.namespacesfield, when attempting to GET the object afterwards a 404 is received. So the SpaceID or default space is always required to be present, however an additional check to ignore if missing from the namespaces field should be added.
