Thanks! When should this go live and what will be the EDOT CF version?

As mentioned in the issue - https://github.com/elastic/edot-cloud-forwarder-aws/issues/229#issuecomment-3319754959 , let's add following details,

  • How to perform error replaying
  • Sizing guide/tuning guide for end users or at least recommendations on performance tuning

@MichaelKatsoulis check MichaelKatsoulis#1

I have added some suggestions.

  • We should hide all unsupported signals and configurations
  • Added error replaying section

if these changes are how ECF is working today, lets move forward with them. The last thing to keep is the tech preview badge, anything else we can gradually add.

After {{edot-cf}} for AWS is successfully running and forwarding logs to Elastic Observability, you can install pre-built integrations in Kibana to visualize your data with out-of-the-box dashboards and visualizations.

The comment above was made because it feels like there is a dead-end on this phrase "you can install pre-built integrations in Kibana to visualize your data with out-of-the-box dashboards and visualizations."

and now I find that we are actually guiding the user to install the integrations, let's make sure these steps flow into each other.

Can you elaborate a bit more @mlunadia ? In which instances are the integrations not going to work? Can you add a suggestion?

@MichaelKatsoulis @mlunadia I made some edits. Since we're still in TP, I would say to merge this as is and then work on deeper improvements for GA.
