The java time formatter used in the exporter adds a plus sign to the
year, if a year with more than five digits is used. This changes the
creation of those timestamp to only have a date up to 9999.

LGTM, is this only a 6.x issue? Will this be forward-ported?

I created #38436 to fix this in master

@spinscale please be aware that we have removed the 6.x branch in the repository. I have changed the base branch now to point to 6.7.
