Unsaved changes in the editor are persisted even when the user clicks on do not save

There are 2 scenarios

Scenario 1 (Closing a file)

1. Open a file
2. Make changes and do not save.
3. Close the editor and when prompted to save, select do not save
4. Open the file again. The unsaved changes are still present.

Scenario 2 (Closing a project)

1. Open a file
2. Make changes and do not save.
3. Close the project and when prompted to save, select do not save
4. Open the project again. The unsaved changes are still present.
