On many systems the $EDITOR and/or $VISUAL variables will contain the users editor of choice for editing text. Vim, Emacs and Nano are popular choices, but there are many others too.
It would be a welcome addition to neofetch to be able to display the configured editor in a similar way to how the shell is displayed, given that the choice of editor is a matter of personal taste similar to many other settings displayed by neofetch.
