Consider releasing a plugin for Cursor users

Similar to #517, but for Cursor.

Considering that Cursor is a highly-popular agentic coding tool (second highest market share after Claude Code, as some reports show), and that it has both an official marketplace and support for local marketplaces (imported from GitHub), is it in the plans to release a Cursor plugin to make usage easier for Cursor users?

Cursor does support marketplace.json, so I guess the only change necessary is to place the marketplace.json under /.cursor-plugin. It would be an additional plus if the plugins can be released via the official Cursor marketplace (requires manual submission and review by Cursor team).

Yes, but we need a marketplace.json under /.cursor-plugin. I can submit a PR if it's OK.

Also the latest Cursor version doesn't seem to support symlink in local plugin directory, but I guess that's a bug that should be addressed by Cursor.

There's already a PR in the making that doesn't use a symlink but I just wanted to underline that we can't use symlinks. We did that initially and it broke customers on Windows machines that didn't have the Developer Modes enabled in the OS settings.

Sorry I misunderstood the original comment. I thought you meant a symlink from the Cursor local plugin directory to a cloned version of the repo.

But yes, symlinks within a Git repo have various issues on Windows. So I guess a more cross-platform solution would be to manually keeping the marketplace.json files in sync.

The Cursor IDE doesn't include the dotnet-skills plugins in the marketplace, so I tried using them locally. Copying the entire dotnet-agent-skills folder didn't work, but I could see them in the Cursor IDE after these steps:

1. Copy the necessary plugin folders to $env:USERPROFILE\.cursor\plugins\local
2. Create a ./cursor-plugin/plugin.json file in each plugin folder with basic information, like:
