Follows similar pattern as Mono's EventPipe implementation with support for Windows and Linux.

Follows similar pattern as Mono's EventPipe implementation with support for Windows and Linux.

Can you also call this out as another example in that issue you filed some time ago around sharing code in event pipe implementations?
