- The Japanese translation is ambiguous about “vertical scaling” means scaling out or scaling up.

In my opinion, It is better that word order is based on the original text this time.
How about like this?
手頃な汎用マシンを追加することによってスケールアウトさせる方が、一つのサーバーをより高価なマシンにスケールアップする（垂直スケーリング）より費用対効果も高くなり、結果的に可用性も高くなります。
