Summary

claude-sonnet-5 is already present for Claude Code (open-sse/config/providers/registry/claude/index.ts) and in pricing (open-sse/services/providerCostData.ts), but the Antigravity model catalog (ANTIGRAVITY_PUBLIC_MODELS in open-sse/config/antigravityModelAliases.ts) was missing the corresponding entry — it only listed claude-opus-4-6-thinking and claude-sonnet-4-6.

This PR adds a claude-sonnet-5 entry to the Antigravity catalog, mirroring the shape of the existing Claude sibling entries (context length, max output tokens, reasoning/vision/tool-calling flags).

Thanks to @anki1kr for the original implementation.

Changes

  • open-sse/config/antigravityModelAliases.ts — add claude-sonnet-5 to ANTIGRAVITY_PUBLIC_MODELS.
  • tests/unit/antigravity-model-aliases.test.ts — extend the existing catalog tests to assert claude-sonnet-5 is present and user-callable.
  • CHANGELOG.md — add the [3.8.44] entry.

Test plan

  • node --import tsx/esm --test tests/unit/antigravity-model-aliases.test.ts — 9/9 pass
  • Confirmed fail→pass: reverted the source file to the pre-fix state and reran — the new assertion failed with actual: undefined, then passed once the fix was restored
  • npm run typecheck:core — clean
  • npx eslint open-sse/config/antigravityModelAliases.ts tests/unit/antigravity-model-aliases.test.ts — 0 errors (3 pre-existing any warnings unrelated to this change)
  • Related Antigravity test files (agy-pro-fallback-chain-3786, pricing-ag-flash-tiers, agy-gemini-3696-tier-passthrough, agy-gemini-400-3229) — all pass

The Antigravity OAuth backend catalog (ANTIGRAVITY_PUBLIC_MODELS) listed
claude-opus-4-6-thinking and claude-sonnet-4-6 but had no claude-sonnet-5
entry, even though claude-sonnet-5 is already present for Claude Code
(registry + pricing). Add the missing catalog entry mirroring the shape
of the existing Claude siblings.

Code Review

This pull request adds the claude-sonnet-5 model to the list of public Antigravity models in open-sse/config/antigravityModelAliases.ts, specifying its capabilities such as context length, max output tokens, reasoning, vision, and tool calling. It also adds corresponding unit tests in tests/unit/antigravity-model-aliases.test.ts to verify the model's availability and properties. There are no review comments, so I have no feedback to provide.

Important

The consumer version of Gemini Code Assist on GitHub is being sunset. Starting June 18, 2026, new organization installations will be blocked, and all code review activity will officially cease on July 17, 2026.
