Reproduced both loading failures on exact release base 1853a61, matching full CI run 35664744712. ComboSortSelect was collected by Vitest while declaring node:test cases; use the actual collector and its jsdom environment. The fitness suite now imports JSON data through the runner so Vite does not rewrite a filesystem URL as a browser asset.
All existing assertions are preserved. RED: both suites fail to load on the base. GREEN: 5/5 tests in jsdom and 4/4 in the Node Vitest lane; real hooks pass. This fixes two confirmed BASE-RED loading errors, not the other UI/manifestAdapter failures or full release acceptance.
