Cannot open the app

Describe the bug

I cannot open the app. After I press the button on app I see the console(it takes about one sec or even less) and nothing happens then.

Steps to reproduce

First of all, I reloaded the darktable, when I try to open the app it shows the banner instead of console that was before.

i want to be able to open and use it

I read about bugs that could happen if you use the Windows, I didnt find something that could help me to solve it by myself. I noticed that version is changed, I dont know when it changed, maybe when i reloaded, but any of it doesn`t accept me to open it.

The darktable program does not update itself, let alone update without the user's participation and consent. If you have no idea when darktable was updated, then it is obvious that someone else who administers your system did it. You should contact them for explanations and support.

Regarding the problem the program encountered, at some point the data.db database disappeared (you can see it yourself in the log file). darktable does not contain code that could delete this file.

So, the problem is not in the darktable code, but in your system.

Thank you. Yes, I meant exactly that. I think the darktable was updated because of I installed it again and chose the newest version. So, what should I do now? What can be problem at? I am not an expert in this type of errors, could you advise me something to check or change, maybe some simple actions would help.
