…th (gpt-5.6-sol eval) Session persistence (was silently lossy / on the render path): - WAL rotation now goes through one process-safe primitive (wal.lock) used by BOTH the app writer and the escrow holder; rotation always bumps and persists walGeneration before renaming wal.log. Previously the holder rotated without touching the generation, so post-crash reattach could replay from a wrong-generation offset and silently omit output. Proven by SessionWALCoreTests (rotation-after-frame, generation-invalidation, offset+delta replay). - The output tap no longer allocates or copies under the lock Ghostty holds via renderer_state.mutex: double buffers, swap counts under the lock, allocate/copy/write after releasing it. - meta.json is rewritten only on identity/generation change or at the heartbeat cadence, not every byte-bearing tick; the sweep timer suspends when no writers remain; frame captures are staggered. - Adds SessionWALCoreTests exercising the ring/rotation/replay core directly (the machinery is otherwise gated out of XCTest). Sidebar: log/progress/status telemetry now redraws a row without rebuilding the git branch/PR/tree detail cache; only detail changes recompute it. TabItemView Equatable + .equatable() fast path unchanged. Cleanup: removed the dead v1 socket-auth acceptance path (v1 traffic is rejected downstream regardless). Addresses eval findings #2, #3, #4, #6, #9, #11. Remaining findings tracked as #183-#187.
