This fixes #75 the build error "format not a string literal" with 2.2. on debian (sid).

It was compiling perfectly on my computer. I wonder it this is the cause of #74.

Thanks for this patch, @snd1!

BTW, I've found an issue too so version 2.3 will be coming up in during the following days.

snd1 deleted the fix_format_not_a_string_literal branch
