Welcome to the Dataland wiki!
The user interface of dataland.com allows you to perform the following actions:
- Explore data
- Request data
- Upload data
The explore page allows users to browse through the companies for which data is available on Dataland.
If no results are available when looking for specific datasets on dataland.com, you can use the request data functionality. This allows you to request data from missing companies, updates, and new or additional data from available companies for the available frameworks. You can find more information about the frameworks and indicators supported on Dataland under supported frameworks.
You can request data from multiple companies for multiple frameworks by providing one of the following company identifier type: LEI, ISIN, permID.
New datasets allows users to upload data for a specific company and framework through a user interface. To get user provider rights, please reach out to [email protected].
Please note that after submitting a dataset, the data goes through an internal quality assurance process, before being released on the platform.

Dataland currently supports 6 frameworks, giving users the possibility to explore, download, request and upload data for these frameworks. New frameworks are being regularly added to the platform. If you would like to request the addition of a framework, please contact [email protected].
The EU Taxonomy regulation supports companies (both financial and non-financial) in capturing their environmentally sustainable economic activities.

The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) helps investors to properly assess how sustainability risks are integrated in the investment decision process.

The Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG) is a German law requiring companies to monitor human rights and environmental risks in their supply chains.

The Pathways to Paris (PtP) framework was developed by WWF Germany and PwC Germany to capture companies’ progress on Paris-compatible transformation paths that are necessary to achieve the goals of the Paris climate protection agreement.

This SME questionnaire has been developed in partnership with the State of Hessen and the chamber of commerce in Germany. It aims to help small and medium enterprises report on sustainability.
This ESG questionnaire has been jointly developed by GDV and VÖB to help insurers and public banks meet their legal and regulatory sustainability requirements. It is currently only available in German and relevant for companies, which are obliged to report under the CSRD Directive and / or obliged to report on sustainability in accordance with the disclosure requirements of Articles 19a and 29a of Directive 2023/34/EU.
