Version 1.9

For users directed here and looking to download the app:

1. Click code-scanner-1.9.apk at the bottom
2. Download the APK file
3. Open the APK file, then follow installation prompts, enabling installation from unknown sources
4. The app will be downloaded on your device.

Version 1.9 brings multiple changes:

• Share button in Preferences screen
• Privacy policy direct link in Preferences screen (previously was in the various app stores)
• App onboarding for new users

New languages have also been added by these contributors:

• Chinese (Simplified) - @czlucius (Lucius C.)
• Norwegian Bokmål - comradekingu (Allan Nordhøy)
• Spanish - KvynYT (Justin Alvez)
• Russian - Mr.KOCMOC and creepen (Егор Ермаков)

The privacy policy has been changed to improve on it's phrasing, as it specified data that the app did not collect in the past.

Version 1.7 brings multiple major improvements:

• Batch scan (optional)
• Preferences
• Pinch to zoom
• More data types
• QR codes created are saved to cache and can be cleared by clearing cache of app
• Text in the bottom sheet is now selectable

Several bugs are also fixed as well:

• URL without schema cannot be opened
• Text in BottomSheetDialog overflowing
• Color picker showing wrong previous color
• Scrolling text in bottom sheet does not show first few lines

Do note that some amendments have been made to the privacy policy, clarifying that the app cannot connect to the Internet.

Version 1.7 targets Android 12 (API 31).

Version 1.6

SMS being incorrectly saved as Wi-Fi in History.
The previous release (1.5) included a mistake that did not correctly rectify the issue.
This release rectifies this issue.

Version 1.5

This update brings several bug fixes and improvements to the app.

Fixes 2 major bugs:

• SMS being incorrectly saved as Wi-Fi in History
• Create section no longer shows "Share" and "Save" buttons if no code is present but the "OK" button is pressed in Contents
  Will update the app to add new features in the future, stay tuned!

This release brings new features and bug fixes.

First release

This is my first release for Code Scanner, marking the change from testing/beta phase to stable.
This app is ready for download, feel free to share this link to your friends:)

Note: Code Scanner may/may not require Google Play Services to work. I am planning to add support for zxing and other barcode recognition libraries in the future.
