Hello!
I'm trying to run an old (2006) Cossacks II: Battle for Europe CD version on modern Windows (10, latest update). At first everything looks and works fine but when you try to load/leave a battle the game freezes (looks like it's not responding) or even crashes. This also happen on exit from the game.
Sometimes you can still load and play couple of battles but the issue will happen almost for sure eventually (like on 3rd battle and so on).
The issue seems to be connected to the fact that this game has two resolutions - one for main menu and another for battles, and switches them back in forth according on the place you're in (it happens after loading).
Also, I want to note that Cossacks II was developed by GSC, whose games are notorious to have all kind of bugs. The steam version of the game though does not require any additional tools to be played on Windows 10, my issue is mainly connected to the old CD and (i suppose) GOG versions.
