Runtime.ImportModuleError: Unable to import module 'lambda_function': No module named 'rpds.rpds'

We have several dependencies and not sure which one uses this package. But we have recently started facing this issue. Could you please help.

We deploy using aws lambda layers and use inside the lambda functions

I'm facing the same issue in the Sentry Python SDK when trying to run free-threaded Python in our CI.

@alexander-alderman-webb see I was able to solve the issue I mentioned above. I will tell you the steps, let me know if it worked for you or not.

1. First the problem: We deployed our layer with python version 3.11 (codebase is still using it), and the version we had for our AWS Lambda function was 3.12. Now, rpds builds on runtime (Check here - https://pypi.org/project/rpds-py/). So, it built with version 3.11, that I was able to check by downloading the layer.
2. Solution: I simply switched the python version of the AWS Lambda to 3.11, and it worked fine.
