@InfrPopGen the recombinant in the title is a typo right? I can't see anything recombinant here.

Hello Everyone,

@corneliusroemer , @InfrPopGen , we at the Genomic Surveillance Group at National Institute of Health (INS-Peru), have been following the spread of this lineage for the last weeks in our country. I am glad you have designated it as new lineage. Here I want to share some slides we have been preparing for the update issue #1245, basiccally based on mutation S: N460K. In the next days we will upload new peruvian genomes to GISAID. Many thanks for this great work.

nextstrain global analysis:
image 1: the global analysis indicates the exclusive representation of this lineage in Peru

image2: Yes, only in Peru. Its seems like this DJ.1 appeared in Peru and nowhere else

In the next days we will upload new peruvian genomes to GISAID

Thank you @Vjimenez-vasquez let me say that without your work in sequencing and then analyzing sequences an early proposal would be impossible.
Again thank you!
