Updates from August 10 2020 to February 22 2021
The app still depends on a CLI to display necessary information and, in few cases, ask for verification. Many results from the backend will now be displayed in the UI instead of the console. Also, a serious bug in the Freeones scraper was fixed.

The UI reports version 0.7.3 or similar, this is of no consequence, I simply forgot to update the template file.

Same release as 0.7.1, but with fixes from 10 Aug 2020 to 10 Sep 2020.
Among these changes to the TpDB API, fixed hash dupe checker (in some cases, it would give a false dupe for the same file), and YAPO now doesn't add items in the recycle bin (Windows).

YAPO e+ (Yet Another Porn Organizer extended) - version 0.7.1

This is a compiled build of version 0.7.1 (100820), which is the current development version.

I am going to update the README and changelog, for now, I include the old one.

New features include an API client for TpDB which identifies most newer scenes. This also offers renaming of video titles (not filenames currently) to the format " - - - <title>".

This version also allows for autonomous adding of websites, performers and tags, so if you start from scratch, YAPO now offers automatic addition of information not already in the system.

It also supports website logos which will be fetched if so chosen.

You should change the options under "Settings" before adding videos. Re-scanning of existing videos and websites is possible from that view.

Performers (actors) are now scanned this way:

• if a performer is registered on IMDB, add that data then:
  • if a performer is registerd on TMDB, add that data, then:
    • if a performer is registered on TpDB, add that data, then:
      • if a performer is registered on Freeones, add that data.

This ensures that the best data is always included in the database, and less reliable data is inserted only if data doesn't exist already.

Actor photos from TMDB are always prioritized because they have the best photos. TpDB and Freeones photos are only kept if no other photos are available (including manually uploaded ones).

There are many more features. Try it out.

This release is standalone; it doesn't need Python or any skills of any kind to install.
The only necessity is that you run migrate.exe after installation (the installer will try to do this).

YAPO e+ (Yet Another Porn Organizer extended) - version 20200605-0035

This YAPO e+ package will install a ready-to-run Python environment for Windows 10 64-bit, which can be turned off by adding the argument -OwnPython to the executable.

It will also run as described in the README.md, you don't have to use the included environment.

If you operate with the included environment, that environment will take over your Python environment until you reboot.

FFMPEG, VLC and Chromedriver binaries are included in this release but will not take over your own system.

This package comes without any pre-added data. You can donate for a full package with 8500+ actors with descriptions and tags, 350+ pre-added video tags and websites, many of the websites have logos and many tags have tag images.

Disk space requirement: About 685 megabytes.
