📝 Summary
Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to PR routing now permits later quoted markers while retaining the comment-path guard. The current workflow conditions are correct; the remaining test-strengthening recommendation is non-blocking. Pre-merge checks |

Code Review
This pull request introduces the pm_is_agent_authored_body function in scripts/lib/persona-mention.sh to determine if a PR body was authored by a persona by checking if the first non-blank line starts with the agent marker. It updates pm_pr_should_route to use this new function instead of pm_is_agent_comment, preventing PRs that merely quote the marker later in the body from being incorrectly blocked. Comprehensive unit tests have also been added to tests/persona_mention.bats to validate this behavior. I have no review comments or feedback to provide.

…sWith() condition Anchor the pull_request pre-filter tests to the workflow expression !startsWith(github.event.pull_request.body, '<!-- persona:') to clarify that the tests verify prefix matching (not substring contains) semantics. Co-Authored-By: Claude Haiku 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Quality Gate passed with no actionable findings identified. The 3 new issues listed are not enumerated in the comment and no specific hotspot patterns (script injection, hardcoded credentials, dynamic code execution, insecure downloads) were found in the changed code. Tests all pass (110/110 passing). |

…ter condition Test that the workflow's route-pull-request job uses startsWith (not contains) for the persona-marker condition, anchoring the test to the workflow expression to catch regressions.

Maintainer note on the two threads I resolved without a reply (a reply would have started another pass while CI was running).

…itions are barely tested — an accidental narrowing of the comment job's recursion guard would pass CI (#1289) * feat: implement issue #1288 — persona-mention: the job-level if: conditions are barely tested — an accidental narrowing of the comment job's recursion guard would pass CI * fix(reviews): harden persona-mention if: tests (pattern var, clause count, explicit marker policy) Test-Change-Justification: reviewer threads on this PR's own newly added tests (#1289); strengthens assertions, none relaxed * fix(reviews): align route-pull-request marker test with startsWith policy from #1286 Test-Change-Justification: main's #1287 (issue #1286) narrowed the PR-path marker check from !contains to !startsWith, so the earlier substring-policy assertion is obsolete; see 8840516. * fix(bot): correct regex end-of-line anchor in bot_logins_compared pattern The pattern was using an escaped dollar sign (\$) which matches a literal '$' character instead of the regex end-of-line anchor. This caused the bot-login matching assertion to fail. Fixed by using unescaped $ for the proper EOL anchor. Problem
persona-mention router skips any PR whose body quotes '<!-- persona:' — narrow the PR-path marker check to a body authored with the marker
From the issue: The persona-mention router's
pull_requestpath (#1165, live onpersona-mention/v1-nextasv1.19.0) skips any PR whose body mentions the persona marker, not only a PR a persona authored.Risk
Medium — changes GitHub Actions workflow behavior, which is exercised only post-merge; verify via the affected workflow runs.
Test plan
Tests added/updated:
tests/persona_mention.bats. Verification:bash scripts/dev-lead-lint.sh(shellcheck --severity=warning) ran pre-commit; the bats suite runs in CI.Rollback
