Hello,
I'm fairly new to git and ruby for that matter so be patient with me! :). Our system depends on checking for new versions of this specific package. Since it's on .13 we cannot take advantage of the feature to pass arguments to custom plugins unless we swap the binary. Our deployment process is already coded to check for a new version of the ebuild to then build the version that is available. That is why we need this new one. Version 17 allows us to do what we need to do as I tested it manually by using the binary. Can you take a look at this request and do a pull if this will allow us to build the 17 package?
