📃 Iteration 53 roadmap

This post outlines our targets for the upcoming iteration. The goal is to provide a summary of where we are going.

New features / enhancements

• Table column resize – merged 🎉
• Revision history: support for document storage – merged 🎉
• Typing improvements (migration to beforeInput, better IME support) – this will span across a few iterations.
• Revision history: make it possible to continue working on the same (current) revision after the editor was re-initialized – this will span across a few iterations.
• Migration to TypeScript – this will span across a few iterations.

Bug fixes

• Document lists stabilization – this will span across a few iterations
• Styles dropdown stabilization – this will span across a few iterations
• Suggestions and comments are lost on elements with enabled GHS attributes – merged 🎉

Finally, some more bug fixes and minor improvements are planned for the 53rd iteration. See the list of issues closed in the current iteration for more details.

Dates

The code freeze is planned for May 19th, 2022, followed by releasing npm packages on May 25th, 2022.

Please keep in mind that these plans are subject to change, and even though we put all our energy into delivering all the items mentioned above, the iteration plan may change at any point.
