# Say welcome to bang mode!
We're ending the week in great style by bringing you a nice feature to Crush that some of you have been asking for.
Bang mode
What is "bang mode"? It's simply a nice way to let you run Bash commands straight into the chat. This is convenient when you want to run something quick without having to quit Crush (or switch into another terminal tab).






You know the coolest thing about it? The model can see it! So if you want it to fix something (build, lint, whatever else), you can just run it in the chat and then ask the model to act on it.

Local LLM enhanced
If you use Crush to use your models locally in your machine, we just got some improments for you. Crush can now auto-discover which models are available to use, so you don't need to declare then manually.
This will work for MLX, LMStudio, LiteLLM and Ollama. To learn how to configure it, read this section of the README.
Enhanced clipboard support
We made changes to improve support clipboard certain different environments like Linux X11 and Wayland.
Clipboard should also work on Linux without requiring xclip or xsel to be install.
Fireworks
Crush now supports a new provider: Fireworks. Just paste an API key and start using it.

Verifying the artifacts
First, download the checksums.txt file and the checksums.txt.sigstore.json file files, for example, with wget:

If the output is Verified OK, you can safely use it to verify the checksums of other artifacts you downloaded from the release using sha256sum:
