Thanks, @megamen32! 🙏 Good catch — the compression preview was throwing away the most useful part of the API response. Verified end-to-end: /api/compression/preview already returns original/compressed/diff: segments (route.ts), and your renderDiffSegment matches the real { type, text } segment shape from diffHelper.ts, so it renders correctly against live data — not just the mock. Regression test covers it. Merged into release/v3.8.29; ships in the upcoming release. 🚀
