Summary

The repository was transferred from diegosouzapw/OmniRoute to the cheaper-inference organization on 2026-10-21. GitHub redirects the old name for web, API and git, so most links keep working, but a few identifiers must name the new owner or things silently stop:

  • Workflows — the github.repository == '…' guards that allow scheduled jobs (nightlies, Docker publish, radar export, test quarantine, Scorecard, Release-Green) would skip every scheduled run under the old name. GHCR image name becomes ghcr.io/cheaper-inference/omniroute: the org repo's GITHUB_TOKEN cannot write to the user namespace (the org must allow package creation). --repo arguments of gh calls updated. Docker Hub names (diegosouzapw/omniroute) are unchanged — that registry account did not move.
  • Scripts — default repo constants (reconcile-changelog, dry-run-lts-cut, rehome-open-prs, sync-labels, audit-worktree, ci-discriminate, release-runner-*, sync-wiki) and check-workflows.mjs's expected repository.
  • package.json repository.url, OCI image.source labels in both Dockerfiles.
  • src — update checker (versionCheck.ts), release-notes feed (releaseNotes.ts), footer links, agent-skills catalog source (agentSkills.ts), desktop download URL (HomePageClient.tsx).
  • tests — the 16 unit tests that pin those strings.

Left alone on purpose: README, docs, llm.txt, AGENTS/CLAUDE/GEMINI and all i18n mirrors (redirect covers them; rewriting the sources would put 2,600+ mirrors into drift and block the PR-scoped drift gate). They follow through the normal i18n wave when those sources next change. CHANGELOG history untouched.

Still needed outside this PR (org owners / repo admin)

  • Grant diegosouzapw admin (or runner permissions) on the org repo; check that the five self-hosted runners (omniroute-113*) are registered under the new owner — otherwise omni-light/omni-build/omni-release jobs queue forever.
  • Allow GHCR package creation for the repo in the org; re-link Mergify, Codecov, Semgrep, Trunk, SonarCloud (kept at the current project key for now).
  • npm Trusted Publishing for omniroute: update the trusted publisher to cheaper-inference/OmniRoute + npm-publish.yml before the next release.

Full plan: _tasks/superpowers/plans/2026-10-21-org-migration-cheaper-inference.md.

Validation

  • node --test on the 16 touched unit tests + tests/unit/build/check-workflows.test.ts.
  • npm run check:workflows (if present) / YAML parse of every workflow.
  • npm run typecheck:core, eslint + prettier on the touched TS/TSX.
  • grep -rn "diegosouzapw/OmniRoute" .github scripts src/lib/system package.json Dockerfile* → 0.

⚠️ base-red inherited: #17219 (Release-Green sweep reds on the base tip; unrelated)

…ence/OmniRoute

The repository moved from diegosouzapw/OmniRoute to the cheaper-inference
organization on 2026-10-21. GitHub redirects the old name for web, API and git,
but a few places must name the new owner to keep working:

- workflows: the `github.repository == '…'` guards that let scheduled jobs run
(nightlies, Docker publish, radar export, test quarantine, scorecard) — with
the old name every scheduled run would silently skip; GHCR image name
  (`ghcr.io/cheaper-inference/omniroute`, the org repo's GITHUB_TOKEN cannot
write to the user namespace); `--repo` arguments of gh calls. Docker Hub names
(`diegosouzapw/omniroute`) are unchanged: that registry account did not move.
- scripts: default repository constants (release, dev, vps, docs sync) and the
  workflow checker's expected repository.
- package.json repository URL and the OCI `image.source` labels.
- src: the update checker, release-notes feed URL, footer links, agent-skills
catalog source and the desktop download URL.
- tests pinning those strings.

Docs, README, llm.txt, AGENTS/CLAUDE/GEMINI and their i18n mirrors are left as
they are: the redirect covers them and rewriting sources would put 2,600+
mirrors into drift; they follow through the normal i18n wave.

Conflicts resolved mechanically: the release side only renamed github.com/diegosouzapw/OmniRoute links to cheaper-inference/OmniRoute (#17871) in QuotaSharePageClient, providers/page, privacy and terms; applied the rename on the migrated markup. src/shared/components/Footer.tsx stays deleted (dead shared Footer removed in F4, pinned by dashboard-kit-sweep).
