⚠️ base-red inherited: #15306. This notice does not waive documentation/i18n failures or authorize merging a failing candidate.

Summary

  • Preserve the 66-locale GUARDRAILS delta after docs(i18n): fix the Bosnian AGENTS.md mirror, keep literal code spans verbatim, sync base drift #16503 was independently merged.
  • The approved nineteen-source generation sequence and five literal repairs are published. The next reconciliation also includes CONTRIBUTING, DEVIN_CLAUDE_BRIDGE, LOG-EXPORT, SQLITE_RUNTIME, FEATURE_FLAGS and the newly owner-approved OPENCODE-V2-PLUGIN.
  • Wave base: 1591cd55e0c2b4195cb41ea9e1967d3eb8f56d5e; initial reconciliation: 704314dd2c5b6e384fe4169d4d948558613b92a4.
  • Only documentation mirrors/state change here. No installed operational skills, protected instruction/CHANGELOG mirrors, UI/CLI runtime message catalogs or baselines are modified.

Progress and validation — 2026-10-18

19/19 generated; five literal repairs integrated; ARCHITECTURE SSRF recovery accepted. DRAFT / CONTENT HOLD.
Published head: d18b79021171c35d70c93d7af4e5a823edeb6179.
Generation is not semantic acceptance, and the six newly added sources still require reconciliation.

Manual validation ran on isolated VPS .15, with each result bound to its actual committed source:

  • The five literal integrations finish at caa2134d1c1951f19fe453f0590776ae253d5ab4: QUALITY_GATES, Claude examples, API curl examples, coding-tool catalog and CLI Agents catalog. Their final cumulative content regression passed 28/28 with no skips, cancellations or todos.
  • PROVIDER_REFERENCE capability-enum recovery remains preserved: 1,359 cells across 21 relevant provider rows in all 66 mirrors, with exact-scope/content tests and independent Standards/Spec reviews passed.
  • ARCHITECTURE's bounded SSRF refresh is published at 7d8b98a740caaf9abe6f421af676ce9ffff8110c. The unchanged content probe passed 2/2 across all 66 locales. Checkpoint/state, strict drift, UI keys, CLI keys, ratio and check:docs-all passed on that exact head.
  • Portuguese and Japanese SSRF sections were read, and independent Standards/Spec reviews passed with no introduced finding. The broader raw audit still reports previously reviewed additive resilience diagrams and five benign span-formatting differences; its findings exit is not relabeled as a clean audit.
  • ENVIRONMENT's bounded hidden-stale state exposure is published at d18b790211: plan 3/3 PASS, post-commit state checks 4/4 PASS, unrelated state/mirrors preserved. The existing single-writer section translation is running; content acceptance is NOT RUN for its unfinished output.

Earlier results retain their original candidate identities. The historical failed continuation is not represented as successful, and no old checkpoint certifies the latest release.

Remaining content holds

  1. ENVIRONMENT: hidden reasoning-control definitions were absent in all 66 mirrors; vi also lacked a Claude OAuth row/table separator. Complete the active bounded refresh, publish it and rerun the unchanged five-test content contract plus checkpoint/audit/review gates. Repair vi further only if its separate defect survives.
  2. REMOTE-MODE: 64 mirrors duplicate the privilege-policy paragraph; preserve nl/sr. Require bounded refresh plus unchanged uniqueness, privilege and Zed checks.
  3. ARCHITECTURE fidelity follow-up: an empty inline think-tag example predates the SSRF repair in the inspected mirrors. Preserve this distinct inherited finding for current-source reconciliation; the SSRF PASS does not close it.
  4. OPENCODE-V2-PLUGIN: the new combosSource row is absent from all 66 mirrors at the inspected release source. The corrected content observer remains RED; its parser fixture and private adapter preflights pass. Translate the actual delta and verify technical literals and Latin/non-Latin prose before acceptance.

Use the unchanged existing translation backend and one writer. No global adoption, fallback model or baseline relaxation. Typed catalog repairs prove documentation fidelity, not runtime ACP execution.

Source reconciliation and admission

The bounded source-only inventory against release 35e6b556808caf51dd566df1c46f898fff0218f5 records 23 changed English sources and 26 release source-hash drifts, all drift sources within the approved set. Target hashes were not checked by that inventory. RELEASE_CHECKLIST's external refresh already records the current source hash and must be preserved, not added to this wave.

The same clean release snapshot independently fails the official mutation-test registration gate on .15: four distinct missing test paths form seven module/test associations. That base-red repair is separate from this documentation PR. External #17060 has already merged; its five affected test files pass focused .15 checks (15 native + 12 UI tests) on the newer base. Those reused-dependency focused checks are not full release acceptance and are not repairs authored here.

Applicable full gates, independent pre-merge Standards/Spec reviews, exact-candidate admission and authorized landing remain required. Documentation source/content failures are not waived. Externally merged PRs are preserved, not duplicated.

Full acceptance is NOT CERTIFIED. Draft skips, mergeability, old CI, focused tests and generation counts cannot replace terminal acceptance evidence. No merge, .113 build, .15 deploy/restart or paid video call was performed by this wave. Final deployment/provider confirmation and final independent review remain pending.

Coordination note from #17117 (i18n resync of nine sources): no overlap with this PR.

  • docs(i18n): resync nine drifted sources across all 66 locales #17117 covers only sources outside this PR's file list: SQLITE_RUNTIME, DEVIN_CLAUDE_BRIDGE, OPENCODE-V2-PLUGIN, LOG-EXPORT, CONTRIBUTING, FEATURE_FLAGS, RELEASE_CHECKLIST, FREE_TIERS, RUNNER_BOX. Its .i18n-state.json changes touch only those nine entries.
  • Since this PR was opened, docs(i18n): retranslate the changed AUTHZ_GUIDE and REMOTE-MODE sections in all 66 locales #17098 merged the AUTHZ_GUIDE and REMOTE-MODE sections, so those two entries here may conflict on rebase; the drift check on the tip now lists README.md + 17 docs, all of them in this PR's scope.
  • Two things that may help this PR's sources too: (1) a code-span checker (_artifacts/rail-20261016/i18n-codex/codespan-check.mjs on the devbox) found translated literals in every source I resynced — the runner error text, [Free], // evidence:, MemoryHigh=4G — that the pipeline's own validation does not catch; (2) looksUntranslated() never flags a section with fewer than three prose lines, which kept a stale English "Releasing" section in 34 CONTRIBUTING mirrors after an earlier --adopt.

Merged via /merge-batch (2026-10-19). Evidence: validated on a combined board of the six new PRs over release/v3.8.52 — typecheck core/open-sse/API, ESLint on every changed file, complexity + cognitive within baseline, boundary + cycles ratchets, dead-code, test-masking, i18n new-key coverage, changelog-integrity, docs-sync, check:docs-all, env-doc-sync, provider-consistency, agent-skills 0-diff; 574 focused node tests (the only reds — vision-key-scope-locales and onnx-install-env-16225 — fail identically on the bare tip). CI reds are the inherited base-red #15306 (i18n drift of 18 sources, owned by #16980).

Merged via /merge-batch (2026-10-19). Maintainer merge of the current base on top: #17117 had resynced the RUNNER_BOX mirrors against the previous source; this PR changes that source and regenerates all 66 mirrors, so the RUNNER_BOX mirrors and its .i18n-state.json entry were taken from this PR and every other state entry from the base (i18n:check no longer lists RUNNER_BOX). Evidence: validated on a combined board of the six new PRs over release/v3.8.52 — typecheck core/open-sse/API, ESLint on every changed file, complexity + cognitive within baseline, boundary + cycles ratchets, dead-code, test-masking, i18n new-key coverage, changelog-integrity, docs-sync, check:docs-all, env-doc-sync, provider-consistency, agent-skills 0-diff; 574 focused node tests (the only reds — vision-key-scope-locales and onnx-install-env-16225 — fail identically on the bare tip). Conflicts (265 files) resolved as follows:
- AUTHZ_GUIDE + REMOTE-MODE mirrors (132): taken from the release tip. #17098
retranslated them against the current English sources (8c41f49e / 6602f4c9),
which the tip state records; the PR side was translated from the older base
sources and carried no section the tip did not also retranslate. The tip
REMOTE-MODE also removes the duplicated privilege paragraph (64 locales).
- README mirrors (58 conflicted + 8 auto-merged): PR translation kept, plus the
  tip's mechanical migration-count bump (204 -> 208) in the Database row.
- QUALITY_GATES mirrors (66): PR translation kept, plus the tip's #15682 update
  of the `check:cycles` row (fail-closed since #15281).
- .i18n-state.json: three-way merge per entry; AUTHZ_GUIDE and REMOTE-MODE
entries from the tip; README and QUALITY_GATES keep the PR's source and
section hashes with target_hash re-hashed to the merged mirror bytes. No
  other entry conflicted.
Clean merge: #17117 (nine resynced sources), #17111 (GUARDRAILS source),
#15966 and others. The nine #17117 state entries are the tip's verbatim.
GUARDRAILS keeps its honest record: mirrors and state still describe source
8c8f7fe5, so the drift gate keeps reporting the #17111 delta as stale.
Clean merge (#12743 AGENTS.md slimming, RESILIENCE_GUIDE source growth, eslint
suppressions). No mirror or state conflict; RESILIENCE_GUIDE mirrors keep their
honest record of the source they were translated from.
The refreshed ha mirror folded "## Tabs" into "## Search Tab", leaving
Scrape/Compare as orphan subsections. Restore the ## heading over the
three ### tabs, as in the English source, and update its target hash.
