The Antigravity backend ships new models faster than the pinned catalog can be re-frozen by hand: Gemini 3.7 Flash tiers were live upstream (visible in `agy models` and :fetchAvailableModels) while AGY_PUBLIC_MODELS / ANTIGRAVITY_PUBLIC_MODELS still stopped at 3.6, so /v1/models stayed blind to them and bare names had no alias to resolve. Live discovery (#8123) and the 24h model auto-sync scheduler (#488) already exist end-to-end; the missing piece is the opt-in trigger. New Antigravity-family connections now ship with providerSpecificData.autoSync = true so discovery lands in the synced catalog automatically: - mapAntigravityTokens covers both antigravity (ide) and agy (cli) OAuth connects - createConnectionFromAgyToken covers Antigravity CLI token-file imports; the re-import default sits BEFORE the existing-data spread so a persisted operator choice (true or false) always wins Existing connections are untouched; the per-connection dashboard toggle keeps working as the opt-out.

cheaper-inference#11887) Recreated from cheaper-inference#11685 (MumuTW) onto the active release/v3.8.51 — both commits cherry-picked cleanly with author preserved; 5/5 focused tests + file-size + changelog-integrity all green on this tip. Thanks for the fix!

Port of upstream 0f88b74 (cheaper-inference#11887). New agy/antigravity connections (OAuth or agy CLI token import) are created with providerSpecificData.autoSync = true, so the existing 24h model sync keeps the synced catalog (and /v1/models) current with what the account's backend lists. Existing connections are unchanged; a persisted operator choice wins on re-import. Fork adaptation: the fork does not persist clientProfile in mapTokens — both providers default to the official CLI identity — so the ported test asserts that default instead of upstream's "ide" for antigravity. Summary
Recreation of #11685 (MumuTW) onto the active
release/v3.8.51— the original PR was openedagainst
main, which had diverged far enough from the active release to make a cleanretarget impractical, and MumuTW's fork rejects maintainer pushes. Cherry-picked the PR's
2 commits (author preserved) onto the current tip and re-validated here; both applied cleanly,
no conflicts.
The Antigravity backend (Google Cloud Code) ships new models faster than the pinned catalog
can be re-frozen by hand (Gemini 3.7 Flash tiers were live on the backend but AGY_PUBLIC_MODELS
still stopped at 3.6). Live discovery (#8123) and the 24h model auto-sync scheduler (#488)
already exist end-to-end — this defaults new Antigravity-family connections to
providerSpecificData.autoSync: true:mapAntigravityTokens— covers bothantigravity(IDE profile) andagy(CLI profile) OAuth connectscreateConnectionFromAgyToken— covers Antigravity CLI token-file imports; on re-import thedefault sits before the existing-data spread so a previously persisted operator choice always wins
Existing connections are untouched; the per-connection dashboard toggle remains the opt-out.
