These are my personal tweaks and dotfiles.

In this repository I save all the scripts, alias and dotfiles I use everyday on my personal computer.

before everything

First, I am using Homebrew, Homebrew Cask and MAS to install Mac applications and command-line tools.

Secondly, this repository also includes system preferences, which you can carefully check in my macOS defaults file.

starting the installation

1. Check for software updates.

$ sudo softwareupdate -i -r

2. Get this project somehow and go to its directory. Using Git:

$ git clone https://github.com/cassmtnr/dotfiles.git ~/dotfiles
$ cd ~/dotfiles

3. Start running the start.sh file. This will install Homebrew, Homebrew Cask and MAS, then it will automatically run the installation of the apps.

$ sh ./start.sh

• Integrate Kitty Config (https://github.com/cassmtnr/kitty-config) to the dotfiles
• Automate the creation of the kitty config folder under ~/.config
• Create symlinks of the files in the kitty config folder
