Dropdown variation bug

When I hover over the inline multi-select dropdown the hover expands way past the width of the dropdown, should span from 16px prior to the label to 16px after the caret. Currently doing this:

When I hover over filter there is a weird overlay. This shouldn't be happening. The only hover indication should be the cursor change.

I am working in Chrome.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Got to carbon website, under dropdowns
  2. Hover over multi-select inline dropdown, hover over filterable dropdown
