Attachments uploaded using API are in status "Scanning"

Hi,

We have CAP JAVA non-draft application. Hence, We are uploading the attachments while creating the entity using POST method.

I can see the attachment in FIORI view. However, It is staying in status "scanning". Hence, It is not accessible for download.

We have tested in both local and BTP CF environment. It has the same issue.

I understand that it has to be do something with malware scanning service.

Are there any additional steps to take care when We are uploading using API? Please suggest how to solve.

Hi,
thanks for reporting this issue, we are able to reproduce it with the cds-feature-attachments-oss plugin. Currently, the malware scanner is not triggered for storage targets other than the DB store.
We are working on a fix for this issue: #557

Hi, this issue is fixed with version 1.2.1 of the cds-feature-attachments. Please upgrade to this version and re-try. Therefore I'm closing this issue.
