Describe the bug
Zwift Apple TV or iPad won't recognize QZ in iPhone as a power sensor.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Nothing. It doesn't appear as a power sensor when QZ is open.

Expected behavior
Appear as a power sensor in Zwift

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: iPhone 14 Pro
  • OS: iOS
  • Version 17.5.1

Append a debug log

Zwift shows stryd sensor instead of the iPhone, as a power source. In cadence and heart rate it does show the iPhone as a source.

mmm very strange, i don't see the dircon communication in the log even if the setting is enabled. Are ALL the permission granted for qz in the ios settings?

that's very strange.
could you please install the app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/discovery-dns-sd-browser/id305441017 on the ipad
with qz open and running on the iphone, open that app on the ipad and check if you can see a wahoo service. (usually at the bottom).

both ipad and iphone must be on the same wifi network and same channel

got the issue finally

you have

Cycling Cadence Sensor (Peloton compatibility)

enabled!

Disable it and restart QZ!
