• xd-AntiSpy is now even more compact, improving performance and giving it a cleaner look due to the growing number of features. In short, xd-AntiSpy now looks more like xp-AntiSpy again 😄
• Integrated a central full-text search. Just type your keywords directly in the dropdown or "More Tools" menu. The search resets when you clear the field or click into it
• Fixed a bug that could prevent the app from starting on Windows 10 or cause it to throw a stack trace error
• PluginButler has gained popularity and now comes bundled by default alongside the Debloater plugin
• Slight UI tweaks to the About window
• The Plugins Engine has been further optimized. Previously codenamed GothamX internally, it's finally ready to be rolled out publicly

• Operating under the codename GothamX, I’ve introduced a new dynamic settings form, allowing centralized control over all xd-AntiSpy pages. The settings page, or cPanel, sports a classic old-school look because it was migrated from another legacy cpp project. It may not have the modern aesthetics of the Microsoft Settings app, but it offers a level of speed and reliability that the Microsoft app could often only dream of 🥲
• A Plugins/Marketplace page is now live, dynamically pulling all available plugins from GitHub and offering them for direct download. Some plugins, like the Debloater, come pre-installed, while others that extend settings in the main form can now be accessed directly through the new Plugins page. This keeps the core xd-AntiSpy bundle lean and clean! Check back regularly to discover new plugins and extensions. Keep in mind that GitHub API rate limits can be hit..so if that happens, patience is key!
  As a test, I’ve also included Joe Thio's "Super God Mode" script as a plugin - check out the presentation video for more details
• Load times, especially at app startup, have been significantly improved

I've found the perfect compromise for the user interface by merging the classic and modern versions, resulting in the final form of xd-AntiSpy. It's still small, compact, and intuitive, while maintaining its recognizable "Xp-AntiSpy" charm. The UI now blends classic user controls with modern elements, landing at a 70% classic and 30% modern mix. But this fusion makes it visually appealing.

After introducing the modern version of XD-AntiSpy (no longer in its classic Windows XP XP-AntiSpy form), I've decided to offer two distribution variants: XD-AntiSpy and XD-AntiSpy Classic. I've brought both packages up to the same technical level (Build 4.11.100). The modern version, without any additional name tags, might offer extended plugin functionality (currently, the Debloater does). Both package versions are available exclusively in x64, and are being developed in parallel. It’s possible that one version may receive features from the other version earlier or later.

• Modular Overhaul: The entire modular overhaul has reached the next level. The new plugins, "Debloater" and "Butler" (which replaces Winpilots Clippy and adds admin management features), are now separate class libraries (DLLs). These are located in the Plugin folder.
• Localization has been moved to the new LocalizationLibrary. Note: You need to re-download all language files! Use the new LanguageManager for this purpose.
• Language Switching: You can now change the display language in the LanguageManager, provided it’s installed.
• New Profiles Menu Feature: A new feature has been added to the Profiles Menu for displaying detailed statistics. It shows not just the count but also the edited RegKeys. Info Reminder! With this app, it’s nearly impossible to mess up your system, as every change can be undone at any time
• The Debloater plugin has been updated and is now internally named "BelimsDebloater"
• The Butler plugin has been updated and is now internally named "BelimsButler". You can also use the Butler plugin to install apps. Just enter the keyword "Install."
• Numerous other minor improvements have been made

The last stable version of XP-Antispy was 3.98-2. I am now continuing with version 4.0 (even though this is the very first public release of the app)

• Enhanced XD-Antispy UI: I've optimized the XD-Antispy interface to improve navigation comfort while preserving the classic XP-Antispy look. Future versions will continue to prioritize this aesthetic. I've also launched a survey to gather feedback on how you’d like the XD-Antispy UI to evolve.
• Improved Windows 11 24H2 Support: I've overhauled and enhanced support for Windows 11 24H2.
• Massive Code Refactoring: Significant improvements and cleanup in the codebase.
• JavaScript in Plugins Disabled: In my C++ version, JavaScript code was supported in plugins, but this has now been permanently disabled.
• Performance Boost: To improve startup and response times, some settings checks now have a timeout and will be skipped if they take too long.
• Optional Debloater: A feature not found in the original XP-AntiSpy, the optional debloater is now located under the "Applications" tab and has been further refined.
• Numerous Bug Fixes: I've squashed a bunch of minor bugs for a smoother experience.

The little tool has now entered its stable phase. I've rewritten all the features from my old C++ version into C#. If you're missing anything from the classic XP-AntiSpy, feel free to submit a feature request. Just a heads-up: I've got localization covered and will be rolling out translations in upcoming versions. The nostalgic look of XD-AntiSpy – don't let it fool you, it's intentional – is paired with smart features. And don't worry, Clippy from Winpilot won't be bothering you here anymore.
