Closes #1552.
Description of changes:
Like #1487 and #1492 that removed 1.15, but simpler since we don't have to redo any symlinks or defaults this time.
Testing done:
Confirmed that aws-k8s-1.17 and aws-k8s-1.20 still work OK. Unit tests still pass.
