Updating the version number manually across numerous documentation files is prone to error and can lead to inconsistencies. This PR updates the version in 16 separate markdown files.
To improve maintainability, consider automating this process. A common approach is to use a placeholder (e.g.,
%%VERSION%%) in the source markdown files, which is then substituted with the correct version from a single source of truth likelib/Cargo.tomlduring a build or release script. This would prevent accidental omissions or typos in future releases.
