This:

  • tests that the FFI code builds
  • tests that the FFI code regenerates
  • Adds a simple makefile test that ensures that stuff works end to end. It's not a good test, but it should suffice for now

This does not yet check in FFI: I figure we can decide if we want to do that once most of the FFI is already written.
