This is the Tacent wiki. It is not, by any measure, full documentaion on Tacent, but does contain notes and comments about different areas of functionality supported by Tacent.

The quantization page was recently added comparing different methods or reducing colours in an image. This allows, for example, high-quality gif files to be created, since gif is a palettized format.
