Docker for Mac was updated and moved the Docker socket to the user directory. Ace Link is now updated to support the new location at /Users/<user>/.docker/run/docker.sock as well as /var/run/docker.sock. This should fix Error: Cannot start Docker engine for many of you.

As always, please create an issue if you encounter problems and include logs so I don't have to guess or ask for follow-up :)

  • Fix a build issue that is causing version 2.0.4 to malfunction on Apple Silicon.

Apologies for the multiple releases; I'm not always able to verify Ace Link on Apple Silicon. This build is properly tested. If you're still running into issues on Apple Silicon, I have verified Ace Link to work with these Docker settings:

  • General settings: Use Virtualization framework: Enabled
  • Docker Engine: {"experimental": false"}
