These removals seem reasonable :)
I think ghost nodes should be mentioned as an experimental feature that the ecosystem can experiment with, but I agree that they probably shouldn't have their own dedicated section at this point. A brief mention in e.g. the "What's next?" section near UI improvements might be enough.
