libnl build fails because of DIV_ROUND_UP #113
Comments
Ping, hello? |
This is a good place for bug reports, but the pull requests really need to be coordinated because the patches get applied elsewhere. We rebase things very frequently against the Linux LTS releases and TI patch set. @RobertCNelson can you point out the best place to build this patch against? |
Oh, BTW @BrianSidebotham, @RobertCNelson is out for a few days, so it might take a bit of time to reply. |
@BrianSidebotham sorry for the delay, this will be part of r88 |
@RobertCNelson @jadonk Thanks guys! |
@RobertCNelson r88 builds fine now, thanks! |

[ 294.594314] Bye! Because the user->release_barrier.rda is freed in ipmi_destroy_user(), but the refcount is not zero, when acquire_ipmi_user() uses user->release_barrier.rda in __srcu_read_lock(), it causes oops. Fix this by calling cleanup_srcu_struct() when the refcount is zero. When using buildroot and the 4.4 branch kernel, the build fails with some errors along the lines of:
This is caused when any userspace application includes
linux/ethtool.h
I'll create a pull request for a fix and let me know if it's appropriate.
