Per the lightweight style guide proposed in #2460, switch section headings from title case ("Use DBT_MANIFEST Load Mode", "Performance Gains") to sentence case ("Use DBT_MANIFEST load mode", "Performance gains"). Proper nouns and code identifiers (Cosmos, Astronomer, DBT_MANIFEST, ExecutionMode.WATCHER, etc.) are preserved as-is. Underline lengths are recomputed where the title length changed. Underline characters and decorative separator lines are left alone in this PR.
- testing-behavior.rst: page title "Testing Behavior" wasn't in the
original commit's rewrite list, so it slipped through. Rewrite to
"Testing behavior" to match the rest of the page.
- async-execution-mode.rst: the original commit's rewrite of this
heading only lowered "Mode"; finish the conversion so all non-proper
words are lowercase ("Getting started with Airflow async mode").

The original commit's heading rewrite list was incomplete; several top-level page titles and a few subsections were left in title case even though sibling headings in the same files were converted. Apply the missed conversions: - Page titles: Project Config, Compatibility Policy, Apache Airflow® 3 Compatibility (First Iteration), Managing Sources, Apache Airflow® Configuration Overrides with Astronomer Cosmos, and the "(Experimental)" parenthetical in the two watcher execution-mode page titles. - Subsection: 6. Enable Memory-Optimized Imports in memory_optimization.rst, Dependency Update Cooldown in security.rst, Contributor Guidance in compatibility-policy.rst, and on_warning_callback Callback in managing-sources.rst.
The original commit's heading list referred to these section headings by their old numbering (1./2./3./6.); main has since renumbered them, so the mechanical replay missed them. Apply the sentence-case rewrite by their current numbers, plus the page title "Memory Optimization Options for Astronomer Cosmos".

## CHANGELOG entry 1.14.2 (2026-05-21) ------------------- Behaviour Changes These changes adjust observable behaviour of the ``ExecutionMode.WATCHER`` execution mode. None of them breaks the public Cosmos API, but users relying on undocumented internals (graph wiring assertions, XCom backup Variable names, retry-on-recovery semantics, or retry log format) should review before upgrading. * ``ExecutionMode.WATCHER`` + ``depends_on_past=True``: when the producer task has ``depends_on_past=True`` (typically set via ``default_args``), the producer-done gateway task inside ``DbtTaskGroup`` is now wired downstream of every consumer task, in addition to the producer. This is required so that ``wait_for_downstream`` gating behaves correctly across DAG runs and the task group acts as a single unit that must fully succeed before the next run starts. Users with ``depends_on_past=False`` (the default) see no topology change. See #2615. * ``ExecutionMode.WATCHER`` downstream retry on upstream recovery: dbt models that were skipped after an upstream-failure event are now retried in the same DAG run when the upstream task succeeds on retry. Previously these models remained skipped for the run. See #2684. * ``ExecutionMode.WATCHER`` consumer-retry log format: the consumer's fallback ``dbt`` invocation no longer inherits the producer's internal ``--log-format json`` flag, so retry task logs now default to dbt's normal text format. Users who relied on JSON output in retry logs can opt in via ``operator_args={"dbt_cmd_flags": ["--log-format", "json"]}``. Description
Per the lightweight style guide proposed in #2460, convert section
headings from title case to sentence case. Proper nouns, product names,
and code identifiers (Cosmos, Astronomer, DBT_MANIFEST,
ExecutionMode.WATCHER, etc.) stay as-is. Examples:
Underline lengths are recomputed where the title length changed. Underline
characters (
-/+/~/^) and decorative separator lines are left alone —those are tracked as separate follow-up PRs.
This re-applies the sentence-case slice of the header commit in #2462 against
current
