The PR looks good to me, but can we also take a look at #1633 (comment)
Essentially also test the async DAG with AF3 with virtualenv mode setup & teardown tasks by removing those env variables disabling the setup and teardown task?

I ran it a couple of times quickly, but it’s failing with different errors. I’ve created an issue here: #1689 to investigate further.

It seems that the type-checking job is currently broken. This PR addresses some of the issues and fixes them, while ignoring others for the time being. CI job https://github.com/astronomer/astronomer-cosmos/actions/runs/14600962824/job/40958729879?pr=1686 failing on PR: #1686 related: #1690
