Workshop 3
- Set language during conversion to enable spellcheck. Created user dict.
Thanks Mr. Sridhar for suggesting this. - Fixed incorrect mappings of endash-dash, i vowel sign containing anuswar and many others.
- Converted spaces and tabs marked with Walkman-Chanakya to Smart Delhi.
InDesign no longer shows the old fonts as missing on tested documents. - Made re-runnable by scaling during conversion. This allows re-running the scripts without potential overscaling.
- Mapped the rupee symbol to Smart Solutions' font instead of Sakal Bharti.
This eliminates dependency on two fonts. - Replaced consonants followed by nukta sign by those containing the nukta sign as that is handled better by the font.
- Reduced layout changes due to conversion especially those that occur on text-style boundaries.
- Filtered non existing document fonts to improve conversion performance.

Of the issues reported these are fixed:-
a) Bold/Italic/BoldItalic text changed to Regular
b) Most character mapping errors
The following are still open:-
c) User-defined heading styles applied to different portion of text.
This happens in 3 places in the chapter (pages 4-5)
d) Some unconverted or doubly converted characters due to overlapping
style ranges. (साप़ाQ - page 7, संसर्गए - page 11)
e) संयुक्ताक्षर formation
